Daria Rastunina is a multimedia artist. Daria works with painting, graphics, digital art, neural networks, combines traditional techniques with generative methods of creating work. The artist's works are often on the border between figurative and abstract, which allows her to create her own system of images. The artist explores the intersection of art and technology by examining the workings of neural networks and their very structure, with a particular focus on the impact of neural networks on the way society understands the physical world today. The series "Portals" is made especially for Holst's first exhibition. The two pieces represent a metaphor for moving between two worlds, transitioning between the physical and digital. The artist contemplates the theme of boundaries between the real and the virtual.
